The March Market Action Report shows the median sale price dropped 14%. compared to the February report. $259,000 to $246,000. Sales grew 38% from February 09 and inventory dropped to 12 months, continuing the trend. The Portland Metro Median Sales Price has now dropped 14% from one year ago.
Investment property is continuing to provide opportunities for a cash flow situation. Houses may rent easier than apartments, which have a high supply level due to condo overbuilding. This also provides a great buying opportunity for a condo.
